Week of Prayer for World Peace (WPWP)

Over the past few years some churches in Burton upon Trent  have arranged joint meetings for WPWP - Catholic, Anglican . Baptist and Methodist have met together in each other churches and shared prayers.

Prayer leaflets, with prayers and thoughts from each faith, are availble from Mrs Lesley Daisley wpwp@aol.com

I am always pleased to tell folk that one of the founders of WPWP , Sidney Hinkes an ex paratrooper, began his church ministry here in Burton upon Trent. He must have been a great guy.

It would be good to know of others supporting WPWP 2012 - 14th to 21st October. For us this coincides with One World Week
