World Council of Churches "The Church Towards a Common Vision"

I should be grateful for any comments about this matter:How much involvement with World Council of Churches (WCC) does Churches Together in England (or UK) have?On my first reading of the recent WCC paper "The Church Towards a Common Vision" I get a feeling that thereseem to be more influence by some parts of the Church than others might have. eg:It claims that the WCC "brings together more than 349 Protestant, Orthodox, Anglican and other churches representing more than 560 million Christians…See More

I have been invited to help by obtaining speakers from different faiths to give their own views and those of their faith on the matter of Organ and Tissue Donations. This is for seminar about these matters at the hospital in Burton upon Trent on July 10th

It has become an interesting task just realising there are different views and it coincides with a recent paper from the Methodists.

So far we have: Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Jewish and Sikh. I am sure we will have a Muslim…

More scandals - need of voicees to speak out

Posted on February 7, 2013 at 11:30 0 Comments

Banking and greed;

Dishonest Politicians

Soaring food prices due to speculators

Polluted food including supposedly Halal

Refugees in many parts of the world which Aid agencies

       and supposedly Peace Keeping forces…
