Reviewed in latest issue of Faith Initiative ed Heather Wells, a new book
Women, Spirituality, and Transformative Leadership: Where Grace Meets Power,
published by Skylight Paths Publishing, Woodstock, VT USA even the review seems powerful to this mere male.
Then The Status of Woman In Islam by Dr Jamal A Badawi from Islamic Vision,
434 Coventry Road, Birmingham B10 0UG www.ipci-iv.co.uk. It's free but donations towards post etc are welcome. This booklet gives a historic overview from different cultures and also may surprise many people - including muslim men.

Thanks, Syd. Look at Methodist Women in Britain website (mwib.org.uk) - we used to be called Network?
They respond to such issues.
