We are in the middle of our summer visits course in Leicester. I had been before to most of the places we are visiting this year but there is always something new to learn and old and new friends to meet. On the course we have previously visited the Orthodox Synagogue in Highfields, Sri Sanatan Mandir in Belgrave and the Buddhist Amida Trust in Narborough.



Our latest visit was to the Jain Temple, built in the 1980s when sandstone was brought, already carved, from India. The…
