A flexible resource that can be used to help churches respond to the often hidden problems of human trafficking.

Use it to :

  • Raise awareness of the issues 
  • Pray for people who are abused
  • Campaign to stop human trafficking

Freedom Sunday Resource Pack

Freedom Sunday (19th October 2014) is a day of worship, prayer and action on human trafficking on which many churches around the world come together to raise awareness of the crime and show the world our compassion for men, women and children who are trafficked and exploited. This pack provides worship materials, prayers and study guides to help churches hold their own Freedom Sunday service.

Autumn Conference 2014

The Ecumenical Relations Committee of the Church of Scotland along with Action of Churches Together in Scotland will host an annual conference for Presbytery Ecumenical Representatives and Churches Together Groups. This year, the conference is to be held on Saturday, 11th October in Augustine United Church, George IV Bridge, Edinburgh. The theme this year is "Still Pilgrims Together". The detailed programme can be found on the event flier.

ACTS has prepared prayers and liturgical material for use on the Sundays before and after the Scottish Independence Referendum (Thursday 18th September 2014).

These prayers and liturgical materials are freely available for direct use or adaptation either in a main service or for small groups.
